For some reason, today my KNIME has started crashing at startup.
I just get a “An error has occurred. See the log file” message, but I haven’t been able to figure out what’s wrong.
In the meantime, I have updated from 4.0.0 to 4.0.2 and the result is the same.
I have attached the log file to this post, could you please have a look?

Your log has a couple different KAP runs in it; an earlier one looks like it has a corrupt workflow for some reason; the latter one looks like your installation, in general, is hosed (it can’t find certain classes that should be in all installs.)
Could you download a fresh 4.0.2 from knime.org? When running the fresh install, create a new workspace to make sure that a vanilla install launches completely. Thereafter, attempt to switch back to your old workspace to see if there’s a problem with it.
Thank you very much for the suggested fix, as I was able to start KNIME with a fresh workspace.
For some reason, once I switch to the old workspace, the error returns, but my old workspace doesn’t contain anything important, so I’ll just delete it.
