This is part of that log file. Could you help me with that? As I understand I should  extend equinox loading time. Could you help me and provide way to do that?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I haven't heard of this before. Searching the internet brought up this: https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/823236/

Can you try to fix it the same way? This seems to be an eclipse issue (KNIME is based on Eclipse). Do you get it reproducibly to hang when you open it?

Thanks,

 Bernd

Hello,

I faced the same error and after going through a few forums on eclipse, I found out that we can get rid of this problem by deleting the lock files. They can be found in a few subdirectories under the configuration directory. Some of these directories are:-

org.eclipse.core.runtime/.manager

org.eclipse.equinox.app/.manager

org.eclipse.osgi/.manager

Cheers

Hello,

We are experiencing the same issue. When searching the forums there seems to be 2 possible solutions but neither of them worked.

1. https://tech.knime.org/forum/knime-general/an-error-has-occuredsee-the-log-file-c-knime-configuration-1483078593900log

We tried to increase Dequinox.statechange.timeout to 30000 and 60000 but Knime still would not open.

2. This posting which suggested removing the lock files. We did and still does not seem to help.

Are there other suggestions on what could be causing Knime from starting?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am having the same problem and deleting the eclipse lock files dosen't help
