Hi!

Is it possible to test KNIME Server for free?

If so how?

I would like to try KNIME Server Large because of its features with Big Data, Distributed Computing, REST API and WebPortal.

I was reading the documentation and found KNIME on AWS with the free trial, is it possible to start an instance of it with the AWS free tier?

Hi,

Yes, you can use the free KNIME trial on AWS but you will be charged for the infrastructure portion (AWS).

Hi there @BryanDev000,

To share my experience. AWS free tier offers EC2 instance (t2.micro) that is not available for KNIME Server as it is too small. I have t2.large and think it is just fine for testing. Another thing is that free tier offers only 30 GBs of storage and I have 250 GBs on this instance (which I don’t need but think it is minimum) so keep that in mind as well :wink:
