I’m using KNIME version 5.4.2 on Windows, and sometimes the screen becomes misconfigured. Even after maximizing the window, I can’t see the side panel or navigate through the explorer. I have to restart KNIME to get it back to normal.
I have had similar observations, but could not replicate.
In addition I noticed that sometimes, when right-clicking one of the open workflow tabs, the context menu that allows to reveal in space explorer expands to the top and gets cut of by the top of the screen…
also only restarting is fixing it. Will try and screenshot next time.

Thanks for reporting it. The issue is already fixed and will be released with the next bugfix release (5.4.4) - to be expected ~mid of May.
