KNIME WEBPortal page keeps refresh every 5 seconds using Chrome

Hi,

I encountered a very strange behavior when access the web portal page. It works find when I connect through firefox but the page keeps refresh every 5 seconds when using Chrome. Is there any setting that I need to change in Chrome? It works fine with Internet explorer.

Hi @vzao,

which version of chrome are you using? At some point a feature called “tab discard” has been introduced which might explain the issue: https://superuser.com/questions/1048029/disable-auto-refresh-tabs-in-chrome-desktop

Hi Marten,

thanks for your response. I checked my Chrome version. It is Version 81.0.4044.113. I changed the server.xml file to stop the redirection of port 8080. It is working fine now.
