KNIME won't start: "An error has occurred. See the log file"

Hello there. I’ve been using KNIME for a while now, but I’m not a programmer and don’t know how to fix this issue. I’m running KNIME 3.4.2 on Windows 10.

I have included the log as an attachment.

If anyone could help me, I’d be really grateful!

It seems you are using a virus scanner that is slowly down the startup to a point where a timeout occurs. Either disable your virus scanner for KNIME or increase the startup timeout in the knime.ini:
