Who needs to update what? The TIC team informed me that it only works with Knime version 4.2 to use a Spotfire information link. Is it Knime that needs to be updated or does Spotfire need to be updated to the current version?

I’m just guessing here, but based on TIBCO Community, it looks like TIBCO has extensions available for KNIME versions 3.5, 4.0, 4.6 and 4.7.
4.7.0 is our latest release and our latest production-ready release is 4.6.4 (we don’t recommend .0 versions in production). You can e.g. simply grab the latest 4.6 .zip download and extract it somewhere to test with it.
In terms of supported Spotfire versions, TIBCO would be the place to ask.

I think the TIC people got back to me without contacting TIBCO Spotfire. I just wanted to know if what they said is true. You already gave me the answer I wanted.
