manage extensions centrally?

Hello Knimers!

Is it possible to disable/restrict the installation of extensions centrally? I mean to manage “Available Software Sites” centrally, for example with group policy.

Hi @goldish and sorry for the late response.

I asked and heard back from one of our solution engineers.

One approach that is frequently used is to centrally distribute AP with all approved extensions, then make the plugin folder in the installation directory read only. This is on the simpler side and doesn’t use group policies, but maybe it helps you?
