The tips by @natanaeldgsantos are great and you should try them, if they don’t work you might need to import the security certificate of the ssl proxy into the JRE of the KNIME AP. Take a look at this post on how that is done:

Hello, I just had a similar issue, and saw that none of these SSL user posts had been answered in the Knime Community. So here is what worked for me. I figured out how to connect Knime to my SSL database (in this case, it was a Virtual Database called Denodo... but should be similar for other databases).
