Network partition question

I need to isolate some portion from my directed network.

You see in attachment a network (web link network) where in some zone (circled)  few nodes ( 2 or 3, in the example, the 'influencers') reaches about the same other nodes (the target).

In this way I try to isolate actions (by influencers) that are pushing links toward target sites.

This problem  is driving me crazy; i'll appreciate any help.

Hello,

if I understand your problem correctly you want to find nodes that share many common neighbors. To do so you could extract the node neighbors and do some item set mining on them. Have a look at the lower right part of the Drugbank example workflow which is doing exactly this.
