Dear Knimers,
I am using the “cose” layout of the Network Viewer. When I use the “Interactive View: Network Viewer,” I get the network representation I want. However, when I select “Generate Image at Outport,” the outport yields a simple grid network. Is there a way to get the network to display the same view as I do in the interactive viewer?
Best,
Elier
p.s. This question refers explicitly to the “Network Viewer” node, not the “Network Viewer (local)” node.
Are you applying the settings in the interactive view? That seems to work except for ‘grid’ which gives a different output for me in the interactive view than the node output. I’d say this is a bug. I’m not clear if this is related to your issue though.
These two “grid” arrangements should be identical:
When working with a small amount of data, as shown in the image, the generated visualization generally matches the proposed configuration regardless of the type used. However, as the amount of data increases—for instance, to around 200—a discrepancy becomes noticeable: the interactive view is no longer represented the same way in the generated image. In these cases, the image appears as an ordered grid of nodes and loses its original layout.
You should really get something like this:
The first image is generated by the output port, and the second image is a screenshot of the interactive view.
