The new Excel Reader node lose the transformation settings, after a new file was browsed.
I woul be helpful, if we have the choice reset the transformation settings after a new file was browsed or keep the original transformation settings

The Excel Reader keeps the transformations for those columns which are also present in the new file. It only drops them if they are not present in the new file. Did I get it right that you are looking for an option to always keep the transformations, even if they are not present in the current dataset?
Have you tried this? I lost the settings, despite of the new file contains the same columns.
Yes, it worked just fine. Which AP version are you using?
