It was mentioned before by KNIME team that Oracle will change Java licence. I just wandering will KNIME work the way it does if new Java update will be installed?

KNIME currently ships with its own JRE wrapped as a plugin (Eclipse/plugins/org.knime.binary.jre...); the Oracle licensing scheme will likely result in moving to a different JRE implementation - like AdoptOpenJDK or OpenJDK (probably the former as they offer a JRE and a JDK, whereas the latter offers only a JDK) - but still wrapped as a plugin, shipped with KNIME, which KNIME will continue to use as its VM.
