I went back and checked the ticket Ivan mentioned before. Our developers were not able to reproduce the issue with any of the services that they tested, so the ticket was closed. I know due to security reasons you had to be a little vague about the details. If you are able to be more specific, I could ask them to take another look, but as of now they suspect it might be an issue related to the particular service you are using.

to visualize the problem, I just created a new workflow. with a copy of the deprecated JSON Reader and the new JSON Reader and it just worked. It looks like the problem was fixed in one of the last updates.
