No columns in Excel Reader node to adjust transformations

I’m ingesting multiple excel files (47 to be exact). I like the settings in the excel reader where I can force data types. However, upon opening the settings no columns arise.

Any suggestions?

Do all the files have the same column headers?

Do you see any columns if you change the setting from Union to Intersection (shown in your screenshot)?

Hi @BruceV,

Normally, when you run the node after you set the path and files, it’ll bring all columns for you. Did you load it to test? Can you try with 1 file to confirm the read node is looking for the right path (absolute, relative, mointpoint…) to load before it?

Rookie mistake - I had to wait until the sample was loaded before I could select and enforce types.
