After Installation of NodePit, knime takes long time to start, and when it starts all consoles are empty, also menu bar is missing. The only option that I have is the “Quick Access”. Did my Knime die? Any idea?
I also removed the NodePit, but still Knime does not open properly or working at all. See below screenshot:
During start, the NodePit plugin requests a list of known nodes from nodepit.com. Even if nodepit.com cannot be reached, this should not cause any delays with starting. However, it’s still worth to check whether your network requires any proxy configuration and if so, to set this in KNIME’s preferences -> General -> Network Connections.
To further localize the issue, could you please share your KNINME log file? It is located in your KNIME workspace directory in .metadata/knime/knime.log

To avoid any misleading information here, I would like to note that I have reinstalled Knime, and NodePit as well. Knime opens and works well with no issue.
