I am running into the Number (double) and does not comply with its supposed superclass Number (integer) issue while executing a GroupBy node. I am using KNIME 3.2.0. I appreciate if someone can give me some tips on resolving this issue.
ERROR GroupBy 0:434:234 Execute failed: Runtime class of object "2970.0" (index 8) in row "Row0" is Number (double) and does not comply with its supposed superclass Number (integer)
Attached document provides details on the data types of hte fields used.
Looks like a potential data related issue to me.
How did you read in your data? Did you inspect your data for that 2970.0 value to check whether it may belong to a column defined as Integer? You can try to re-define the column type as Double and see whether this solves the issue.
Cheers,
Marco.
Marco,
Thanks for the reply. I recasted the columns to double and still the groupby is failing. the columns that I receive error are all amount fields. Are there any other option to overcome this issue.
Thanks,
Mahesh
Hi Mahesh,
it is difficult to say what else could be wrong without being able to see the data (at least a subset) and your workflow. Any chance you can share them here?
Cheers,
Marco.
