OpenMS FileConverter issue in Knime 4.3.0

I have updated to Knime 4.3.0 this week and I am having a problem running my reports, specifically the DB Query Reader node. I have the following error message:

I have installed the OpenMS requirements found in the error message, tried to reinstall the extensions (it says there are already installed).

Any advice to “ignore the message” is not adequate as my reports (i.e., step 1 executing the SQL code against the DB which was working in 4.1.3 earlier in the week) aren’t running (no result for >40 minutes).

Help will be greatly appreciated,

so you have updated KNIME from 4.1.3 to 4.3.0? How did you perform update?

What is the issue with DB Query Reader node? You get some error?

I did a new download rather than an update.

The DB Query gives the start up message I displayed, and then just sits with the blue square moving but obviously doing nothing. In 4.1.3 the query takes 2-3 minutes to run, in 4.3.0, nothing after 40 minutes.

I also loaded a fresh DB Query node and added a really simple SQL query also and it does not work on that either.

I have just updated to 4.3.1 and the problem has been resolved.
