Padding Space

Hi,

Have a string manipulation question. I need to add a space leading to and trailing to a string values in a column. Any suggestions?

for e.g.,
column value
ice Cream
vanila
coffee
rocky roads

output column should have following values
vanila
coffee
rocky roads

It’s not clear to me what exactly you’re trying to accomplish. I see that “ice Cream” has been filtered out, but I can’t see the underlying logic behind this process.

Can you rephrase and be more specific about the problem you’re trying to solve and its context?

Are you looking for the join() function? Like this:

join(" ", $column value$, " ")
