Parameter Optimization Issue

Hello,

I think the Parameter Optimization Loop nodes are pretty slow. If you connect both nodes with each other or simply put a Java Edit Variable node in between, it takes almost half a minute on a modern computer to iterate through a single variable with (only!) 1000 steps.

I know that these nodes are still experimental, so you might already be aware of this "problem".

I guess this is the case for any loop with 1000 iterations... It's mostly the GUI updates the slow it down.

Would it make sense to throttle (or sample) the UI updates?
