passing query result (count) to a variable

Good day KNIME users.

I would like to know on how to pass a query result or stored procedure in a knime variable?
Reason is i have a series of insert workflow and need to know if the record count of each table which will be used in the next node (calling a stored procedure).

Additional question, on the flow variables tab, i always see on the dropdown that knime. workspace is only available. what does it do, and does the content of knime.workspace be overided? I haven’t try it yet.

if you got the value in KNIME as an output you should be able to use table row to variable node to store the count in a variable for further use.
