Prediction of the near and nearest future

Hi!
I am new in sphere of data analysis.
I need some help from more experienced colleagues.
Have a file with data for the last year, with two columns. Column with date and another number (double type), the interval every 24 hours for each row.I need to know the probability if tomorrow becomes greater or less, also know the probability that it will become greater or less in a week.
If possible, explain detailed and as easy as possible, it is difficult to understand all the technical terms.

this sound similar to one of our usecases we published here https://www.knime.org/knime-applications/energy-usage-prediction .  There is also a white paper explaining how this can be set up.
