So i was wondering whether I could use PyRadiomics on the python platform of KNIME, it provides calculation abilities for a larger number of texture features than currently available on KNIME.

you can try out the Python Scripting extension for KNIME Image Processing: https://www.knime.com/book/python-extensions this adds support for images to the KNIME Python nodes.
