R (interactive) Snippet error

Hi folks,

I am a newbie to KNIME and R. was testing simple things in R. I am able to run the following in R core snippet but not in R interactive.

I am getting the following error. Appreciate your help.

Error: could not find function "png"
> summary(knime.in)
Error in paste0(before, x, after) : not a BUILTIN function
Error: could not find function "dev.off"
Warning message:

Hello,

Any chance we can get an example workflow?

Regards,

Aaron

Hi,

I don't know if it's related but I have exactly the same error in Knime 2.10 using the R snippet node.

Even if I just let knime.out <- knime.in in the R script box, when I click on "Eval Script":

Error: could not find function "png"
> knime.out <- knime.in
Error: could not find function "dev.off"
Warning message:

Hello,

Are you using your own R installations?  Is the package rJava installed in them?

Aaron

Hi,

I use my own R installation and rJava is installed. Knime.ini file is correctly set, just as Knime in Preferences.

Actually the problem is very strange in my opinion.

With the above example, when I click on "Eval script", I have the error I don't understand. However, what I didn't see last time is I can run the node and it returns me the green light and the output I expect. :/

I don't know if it will help you.

Regards,

Nicolas
