Replace Missing Value with value

I have missing values in KNIME. I need to replace the missing value (?) with the text “Yet to be Updated”

Hi @suseearun ,
You can use the missing value node and then select the data type of your choice and then fill in the text you want to see.

You can also see the option in the snapshot below:

Great! I was able to apply this change for String Format.

I want to do the same for Date Format. How to do this?

You can use the rule engine in this case.

Thanks,

Could you tell me how to use that? Bit struggling to do that.

Hello @suseearun ,

For first issue you can use Missing Value Node as mentioned by @sanket_2012 .

As for next query, use Rule Engine Node to change missing Date as follows

I did this but then the data type changes into String :frowning:

Hi @suseearun ,

Of course the data type will change to string as you want to input a string value “Yet to be Updated”. If you convert it again to Date format you will get a missing value instead of string…
