Running KNIME on Debian 12 Bookworm

Hi,
I’ve just installed KNIME on my laptop. My OS is Debian 12 with GNOME desktop manager, Ryzen 7 CPU, 16 GB RAM. I extracted the archived file into /opt/knime and create link /usr/bin/knime to /opt/knime/knime. To run the platform by calling it from terminal CLI. My problem:

  1. Every time I start knime, I receive following message in terminal:

ERROR:elf_dynamic_array_reader.h(64)] tag not found

  1. Not stable. Often I only got blank windows with title then the OS detected knime was not responding and asked me to wait or force quit.

Did I do the installation correctly, or maybe I missed some required packages? Thanks.

Regards

honest recommendation: dont use 5.5. on linux, stick with 5.4 for the moment
they are mostly busy with AI stuff currently and do not invest much time into basic functionality (data types, compatibility, non-AI features)
