call me a liar but I believe the search in CUI worked by searching reclusively. It seems something recently was changes as searching for terms I used before does not yield a result anymore.
PS: Here is a request for MUI that contains a screenshot displaying that recursive search in CUI did worked until recently. It is in the restricted area of the community hacking days for 5.4:

Hmm, I can’t reproduce in the nightly. It does show matching items in subfolders.
What version is this on?
I just switched my KNIME 5.4 to Classic (Windows 10) to check this and the search is recursively finding keywords for me. Odd.
In Classic UI you need to press return after entering the search term, maybe that has something to do with it.
I did press enter. Seems it was intermittent as I cannot reproduce it. Going to keep an eye on it … maybe it’s reproducible only once after starting Knime.
