can somebody please explain how to derive the size of a segment as the number of pixels using the Feature Calculator (BETA) node? Also how does this node calculate “Size”?
The help function is not very helpful, the link is not working.

Hi Marc,
You need to use the Segment Features node for this, it has a numPix feature in the Segment Geometry feature group.
You will notice that it produces different values than the Size feature of the Feature Calculator (BETA) node, as the later one calculates the size of the polygon describing the segment.
