Slow performance in large tables in KNIME 5.1 version

Hi Guys,

I am slowly transferring to version 5+ of KNIME. However, I have encountered some significant limitations when analyzing my data. Some “new-looking” nodes such as “Column filter”, perform extremely slowly when having a lot of columns. That is not happening in the node’s “old-looking” version.

Is thee a way to solve this?

Could you please let us know how large is your data?
Also, If I understood your statement correctly, “That is not happening in the node’s “old-looking” version”, do you mean that when you switch to the classic UI (KAP Version 5), it works smoothly?

Hi,

The data set is about 18K columns and 240 rows.

Regarding you clarification request. No, Switching to the Classic IU in version 5.1 of KNIME still works exceptionally slowly.

Only when I use the old version of those nodes in the version 4 of KNIME works fast or shall I say normal.
