Hi, we plan to join a server from another team in our company. However for budget planning purposes we need to know the specs of the cores you can add to the server (not business hub). My contact in my company does not know the specs unfortunately.
Can someone please tell me the specs? Thank you so much!

There are no KNIME-specific specs. The KNIME Server license is bound to a certain number of CPU cores that can be used to execute workflows, but what kind of cores is up to you. Whether the customer runs KNIME Server on a super fast 5 Ghz CPU or one with 1 Ghz per core does not matter in terms of licensing. So you’d need to ask the other team running the server what CPU they are running. If you want to gauge how many cores you will need, you can restrict the number of working threads in the KNIME preferences (click on the item “KNIME” on the left side of the preferences) and see how that affects your workflow. For every core you license, 2 threads can be used in the KNIME Server executor. So if you set your working threads to 4, you simulate 2 licensed cores. However, keep in mind that multiple workflows running in parallel of course require more cores.
