SQL server and Access JDBC stopped to work after KNIME 3.5 update

I used Microsoft JDBC 6.0 and Ucanaccess 4.2 after KNIME 3.5 update from previous version.

Database reader for SQL Server telling that cannot authenticate and Access saying there is no ucanaccess driver.

Hi,

Which version of KNIME are you using? Which node are you using to connect to the database?

Cheers,

Roland

Hi all,

I had the same situation using the Knime 3.5 version.

After update the database drive net.ucanaccess is missing and I already did the step by step of the instalation in the Knime preferences.

Roland version is 3.5. Any DB node (db connector db reader/writer). Before update it worked.

Hi,

if you have troubles connecting to a MS Access database have a look at the following post:

Hi @tobias.koetter,

according to bruno.gralls post in https://www.knime.com/forum/knime-general/how-to-connect-to-ms-access-database#comment-29790, driver mentioned above is no more working.

Hence, question arise, if there are investigations from KNIMEs maintenance team and if so, is there a solution / workaround available?

Kind regards,

Patrick

This post is a false alarm. The issue took place for upgrade from 4.2 to 3.5. Current instruction provided by KNIME is functional.

Hello @izaychik63,

I double checked accessing an ACCESS database with my KNIME installation (3.5.3) this morning. You’re right! It’s working.
