Hello everyone,
I am currently using the “SSH Connection” node which works fine as long as I type in the host manually. But as soon as I put the host in a flowvariable I get the following error message:
The structure of the hostname is : xxx-xxxx.xxxx.xx
Is there anything special I need to take care of using a flowvariable as a host? Is it a bug?

Can you try to enter a valid host into the configuration dialog?
This could be a bug we had in other nodes. The node is checking for the value in the dialog, even so it is controlled via flow variables. So it will use the flow variables during execution, but when closing the dialog it checks the value in the panel.
