String to date/time node - false date

Hello, 

I am a KNewbie ... and I have a lot of questions ... here my first:

I have a StringCell with input like: 14/03/2015

I use the string to date/time node with date format MM/DD/YYY to create a date, but the output is: 03.Jan.2016

How have the input variable look like that I can create a correct date? Or is the mistake in the output format?

Have you tried;

MM/dd/yyyy
