String To Number Error

Hi - I’m having an error while trying to convert some values into numbers, first scenario:

  1. I have letters that I need to keep as part of the number
    topic 1

  2. there is numbers with an error that I don’t know how to fix

topic 2

So I don’t know how to convert them into numbers keeping the letters (topic 1) and then how to fix the other format on topic 2.

Any help greatly appreciated.

  1. As far as I’m aware, numbers can’t contain letters (except “E”)

  2. What’s the error?

the error on both is basically the same, it shows an empty cell.

Can you share the workflow and some data? It’s hard to picture what could be going wrong. Is there space after the number?

I can use the String to Number node on a string cell containing 703592E+11 without any issues:
