In node monitor view, can we add a summary statistics view so that for the output table, it shows the key statistics like mean, median, mode, std dev, frequency etc.

This is a good point. There are a few somewhat complicated side cases that we would need to workout, but I agree it would be handy. I've logged this request so we can try to find a place for it on our roadmap.
