Is there any plan to support ssh for reading and writing parquet files?

the Parquet Writer already supports SSH. Unfortunately the Reader does not. We can not read directly from SSH and some other file systems with the Apache Parquet libraries. However we plan to have a fallback method for those, which actually downloads the file and reads it from the local file system. (Which would also be a workaround you can build with KNIME right now)
However, I can not say when this will be available yet.
