I want to skip frozen nodes.
for example, I’m running a python node and it is hunged for any reason, and I want to skip it and continue the main workflow. (suppose that I don’t want to change my python code)
any suggestion?

Inside a single workflow, this is not possible. With our commercial product KNIME Business Hub, you could start a separate workflow job for the things you want to constrain, then cancel the job if it takes too long. That is the only option I can imagine here, unfortunately.

Thanks for your reply. The influence of this program (knime) is increasing every day in our ETL life. When you face with this request and similar, will you create a ticket to handle this situation for us? or is my request not meaningful?

This feature has been requested before once, but right now our backlog is pretty full, so I am not sure it will make it into the product anytime soon. For future reference, the internal ticket number is AP-18846. It suggests the introduction of Timeout Start/End nodes to define a block of nodes that must run in a certain amount of time. Instead, it might also be possible to specify a timeout for a component in the future. Let’s see what comes of it
