Hi,
I am running CentOS 6.3, with Java Version 7 Update 40 (build 1.7.0_40-b43)
I have tried to install KNIME 2.8.1 but it gets an error:
"Unable to connect KNIME's public example server:
Connection failed: org.com.CORBA.INTERNAL: vmcid: SUN minor
code: 208 Completed: No"
Then, in the KNIME Explorer it is unpossible to create a new WorkFlow.
In File --> New --> New KNIME Worflow, nothing happens when I click on Next.
I have same bugs for the versions of KNIME 2.7
For KNIME 2.6 et 2.5.4, KNIME Explorer is ok to create a new Workflow but File --> New --> New KNIME Workflow generates the same error.
The two methods for creating New Workflow are ok for version 2.5.2 and older.
Thanks for helping me!
Emilie
Hi Emilie,
I spent some time trying to reproduce this, but haven't had any luck yet. Just to be sure, when the Next button doesn't work, do you also have the option to click "Finish"? This has "gotten" me before but usually at least the next button is greyed out.
Another thing to try might be to create a new workspace. Is this something you have tried yet?
Sorry for the hassle!
Hi,
WHen the Next button doesn't work, I haven't the option to click "Finish".
It doesn't change when I create a new workspace.

Hi, I'm having the same problem.
Solution: adding your hostname to /etc/hosts
