I see many examples of uploading and downloading files into Google Cloud Storage using the legacy nodes and the Google Cloud Storage Connection node. But I don’t want to bother using the legacy nodes if the new ones work better. But I can’t find any node that supports uploading and downloading files using the new GOOGLE CLOUD STORAGE CONNECTOR. I can write files but not upload? I have multiple PDF files that contain graphic images and I need to upload them directly not read them and write them.

Sounds like what you need here is the Transfer Files node, where you will add a source file system connection port.
