UUID encoding problem with MongoDB Connector on versions newer than 5.2.5

I’m facing an issue when trying to use the MongoDB Connector in KNIME with any version higher than 5.2.5. Whenever I run my workflow, I get the following error:

The uuidRepresentation has not been specified, so the UUID cannot be encoded

This error does not happen in version 5.2.5 or earlier, only in later versions.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any additional configuration required in the newer versions of KNIME/MongoDB Connector to handle UUIDs?

I just ran a sample WF from the Hub and wasn’t able to reproduce the problem in KNIME 5.8:

Does the log provide any additional information?
