When using KNIME some times i lost the cursor, what might be the reason. I could not find the pattern when it is happening.

I could not find related topic in the community page, could you please help me too resolve this issue?

KNIME version: 5.1.1
Windows 10
RAM 16 GB - 64 bit

Hi @rtallapudi and welcome to the forum.

When your cursor disappears, is it just within KNIME? Does it come back when you close KNIME, or are you forced to restart your machine? How often does it happen?

I haven’t yet heard of this happening in 5.1.1, so any additional detail you can provide would be helpful.

Thank you Scott for the reply.

The problem with cursor is with KNIME only. With other application windows the cursor working fine when KNIME isopen. After restarting the KNIME the cursor working fine for few minutes and again the cursor missing. Every time i need to restart the KNIME to work with cursor :frowning: .

Sorry to hear that. Is there any kind of message in the KNIME log (I suspect not, but doesn’t hurt to ask)?

I’ll ask internally to see if anyone else has run across this yet.

Sorry for the delay. I have tried to get the logs for the problem. But I could not see any logs recorded .

Today i see this issue many times. Mostly observed today when I try configure the node and close the configure window i see this issue.

Ah, OK, so is this only happening when you use 5.1.1 with the classic view, or have you also noticed it within the new UI as well? (Thanks for the additional detail!)

Thank you for the advise.

Now I have tested in the new UI , the mouse is working fine.

But observed that when I changed the new UI to classic view again i lost the mouse.

So now I can confirm that the issue is happening in the classic view only.
