Will components be updated on execution?

Hey Knime Crew,

I am curious if created linked components will be updated automatically upon execution of workflow from the knime server? Or do they require manual intervention to be updated

The components inside the KNIME Server workflows automatically get updated (if connected) upon execution.

This is only true if you have the corresponding server configuration option set ( com.knime.server.executor.update_metanodelinks_on_load).

I have not changed the configuration but for me this option is true by default!

Thanks for the info guys.

Is there an easy way to see if my server is configured to do this without browsing through config files?

I personally do not have access to backend of server.

Hi @andrew_crockett

the easiest is to look it up on the admin page of the webportal. For this you need to be a KNIME Server Administrator.
On the first page you see a list of all configurations and if one is not set, we are using the defaults.
