Workflow could not be saved

Hi,

following issue:
we are 2 persons working on a virtual machine (each user has its own knime aplication) and we are working in the same working directory on a network drive (=Local Workspace)

Now we have noticed that we cant edit the workflow from the other person.

System gives the Feedback:

Workflow could not be saved …

File access problems: \xxx\xxx\xx\workflow-metadata.xml

We can copy the workflow and save it in the same directory without any issue, but we cant update each others workflows

Any Ideas whats wrong?

@Henri do not use the same workspace at the same time. Only way for this to work might be if one person is completely logged off and the knime version is closed.

Also be aware of syncing to be complete if applicable and also make sure your cloud or server supports all necessary special characters.

One option would be knime business hub that has collaboration functions or you create a semi automated backup and restore routine to keep the workflows in sync.
