workflow inside a workflow

Hi,

Is there a way to insert into a workflow another workflow?

The second workflow is a branch in common to many job and if i need an update i want to change only one file.

I think the respons emay be the linked meta node functionality from the commercial offerings. 

I'd be very interested if someone has a free solution to this!

I'm working to a possible solution.

My jobs start with a bat file, is there a way to return a value from a launch? i think not, Am i right?

I've not seen any functionality that would, I've dumped a file to disk and then read it in as a work around in the past.
