XLS Reader node vs. JC4XL Reader node

Hi,

Is there an easy way to detect if an Excel file contains chemical structures? I know that I can use the Read XLS Sheet Names node to check if it contains a sheet like “_JchemStructureSheet” and then select the JC4XL Reader node instead of the XLS Reader. I am just wondering if a more direct way of selecting the appropriate reader node exists or not.

I'm not aware of a more direct route. Although it should be possible to automate that using the try-catch paradigm.
