XLSX Node?

I'm required to submit reports in excel so one of my favorite features is the "open after executing" option on the XLS node.  It's a minor peeve of mine that it is in the old XLS format which only allows for 64k lines.  The result is sometimes I have multiple tabs I need to append together in my final report.

CSV doesn't have this problem, however I can't "open after executing" the CSV's.

I wish it would just support the large sheet format that modern XLSX uses...

Any ideas?

We will support XLSX file formats (read, write, and append) with KNIME 2.12 coming out by the end of next week.
