3D-e-Chem KRIPO-DB nodes issue

Hi all!

After working a bit with the 3D-e-chem nodes for KRIPO-DB, they initially worked fine but now give the following error:
ERROR Fragment information 0:43 Execute failed: java.net.ConnectException: Failed to connect to 3d-e-chem.vu-compmedchem.nl/145.108.194.35:80

Do any of you have the same problem, and if so, is there a solution to this error?

Hi Carolijn,
I am sorry to say but I can’t access the KRIPO nodes in the latest version of the Analytics Platform (4.3.1) and reproduce your problem at the moment. I have contacted the developers of the nodes to look into the issue. I will update on the progress you as soon as possible.
Which version of KNIME Analytics Platform are you running?

Thanks so much for your help! The version of KNIME that I’m working with is 4.3.1 (build January 29, 2021).

Hi,

The 3D-e-Chem KripoDB nodes use a web service running at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam to retrieve things. The web service is currently down. We are working on getting it back online.
