A concern about number of core usage by KNIME during a Workflow execution.

Dear all,


I am writing to inquire if there are means of reducing the number of cores that the Knime software can use during a workflow on a particular PC.
I submitted some ligands (~400) for conformer generation meant for virtual screening using the Ligandscout knimenode, but the load I saw on my PC was really strange. Almost crashed my PC.
I would be grateful receiving suggestions on how to limit the number of core usage by KNIME can be done.

File->Preferences->KNIME->Maximum number of threads for all nodes

Note that individual nodes, especially ones from 3rd parties such as the Ligandscout, may not fully respect that setting.
