Dear all, I’m using KAP 5.3 and I was wondering if there’s a way to add the page numbers to the pdf report in the modern UI. I’ve seen that is possible in BIRT but I didn’t find a similar way to do it in the modern UI. Alternatively, could you suggest a way to do it?
Thanks
Andrea
Depending on what you want to do, you can choose to use the classic UI (Menu > Switch to classic user interface), or you may find the Table View (JavaScript) node configuration helpful, particularly, the Interactivity tab, for which the top section is Paging.
Hi Lisa, thanks for your answer. I’m creating a pdf report that has inside a text view, a table view and an image. These objects can lead to a different length of the final documents, thus the number of pages should be added in the Layout editor or something similar, as it was done in BIRT. I’m using the modern UI, thus I was searching a way to do it there, without switching to the classic UI. Alternatively it could be useful to add something similar in the PDF report concatenate because in that case the number of pages of the final document will be different from the original ones.
Curious about your experience
Thanks for your great work and support
Andrea
Hi Andrea,
I have not built many reports, but I can see how your situation would arise. I think you have identified a great feature to facilitate in the Modern UI. I will check to see whether this post can simply be transferred to the Feedback & Ideas category. If you don’t observe that I have succeeded, I think posting there would be the next step.
