Adding the searchable node window to the metanode input port (like in a component)

When I’m inside a component I can add a node directly to the output of the component input node. Left mouse click from the output port brings up a searchable context window for adding a node.

But inside a metanode, directly on the port the wf enters the node, it is not possible.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. The development team is already aware of this limitation, and there’s an existing ticket (NXT-2693) to address it.
